Different and modern. After the meticulous selection and production processes we choose the best wines which we transfer into new French and American oak barrels. This is a wine of very high colour intensity, demonstrating a perfect balance between the aromas of oak and fruit. The result is a Jumilla wine with unique characteristics and optimum expression.
Designation of Origin: D.O.P. Jumilla, Spain.
Grape Variety: Shiraz 85% Monastrell 15%
Oak Aging: 6 months in French and American oak barrels (80/20).
Presentation: 750ml Bordeaux Elite broad shoulder edition. Natural cork.
Vineyard Age: 44 years (Shiraz).
Vineyard Characteristics: Located between 700 and 800 meters above sea level on stony and calcareous soils with maximum yields of 1.5kg per vine.
Harvest: During September and October. Grapes harvested by hand.
Production: Cold maceration with skins intact at 10°C for 4 days followed by native yeast fermentation at a controlled temperature of 25°C. The maceration continues for a further 6 days with regular cap plunges. Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete we subject the wine to a process of micro-oxygenation to fix the tannins before beginning the malolactic fermentation.

Alcohol: 14.5% (total acidity: 5.3g/l, residual sugar: 4.8g/l, total SO²: 66mg/l).
